ISLAMABAD: The senior leader of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sardar Latif Khosa has stated that NAB and investigators were being lenient towards deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, otherwise he should have been arrested by now.

“Presently he (Nawaz Sharif) is going to the UK and when he comes back, his chapter would be closed permanently”, he said, while talking to Online on Sunday. Answering a question, he said that presently, former Prime Minister has nothing to prove and added that if he has something remaining as evidence, he should present it before NAB.

Responding to another question, he said that NAB should have arrested Nawaz Sharif and his family members first, before starting an investigation against them like they have with PPP leaders. He reiterated that the attitude of NAB against the PPP members is totally different as they are arrested first.

To a question regarding Nawaz Sharif’s upcoming London trip, he said that the former PM is never coming back.
