The Sindh University Teachers Association (SUTA) has condemned the incident of violence between 2 groups of students at SU’s Larkana Campus.
In a statement issued here on Saturday, SUTA’s President Dr Azhar Ali Shah expressed solidarity with the injured teachers who intervened and tried to stop the violence. “We demand immediate medical treatment of all injured and punishment for the culprits,” Dr Shah said.
He also called for putting in place adequate security arrangements by deployment of security personnel and through other measures in order to avoid such incidents in the future. A faculty member Aamir Ali Magsi and an office attendant Abdul Kareem Laghari were among 4 persons who sustained gunshot injuries during the clash.
