Imran Khan regrets repeated criticism of Shaukat Khanum Hospital by rivals

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Saturday regretted that his political opponents continued to malign Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital even though its operations were transparent.

“The government’s ministers time and again criticise the hospital,” he said while addressing a ceremony at the hospital. He added that the government was welcome to investigate if it had any concerns in this regard. “Our hospital’s accounts are online,” said the PTI chief.

While referring to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Kulsoom Nawaz, the PTI chief wished her a speedy recovery.

Kulsoom Nawaz also went abroad for the treatment, remarked Khan.

On August 23, Maryam Nawaz Sharif had revealed that her mother Kulsoom Nawaz was diagnosed with lymphoma, a cancer of the lymph nodes on the left side of her neck.

Begum Kulsoom Nawaz left for London unexpectedly on August 17 for a medical checkup – on the day when her nomination papers for NA-120 were accepted amid political hype.

KHAN’S GUARDS THRASH SUPPORTERS:
