ISLAMABAD: The Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) has set up a “quick response force” to control dengue in the capital.
This force will be headed by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Vice Chancellor Professor Javed Akram and will include several high officials of CADD and incumbent heads of government hospitals of the capital.
Over 10 dengue patients were admitted in different hospitals of Islamabad. Three among them were admitted in the polyclinic and 9 were admitted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS).
One patient out of three in polyclinic and 4 out of nine patients in PIMS have been discharged.
The quick response force committee, working under CADD, will take emergent measures and inform the ministry about the progress from time to time.
