Head money of Rs50m announced for 10 hardcore terrorists

KARACHI: A decision has been taken to place an overall Rs50 million head money on 10 hardcore terrorists involved in various target killing incidents and terrorist attacks.

Sindh Rangers forwarded a letter to Sindh Home Department asking for details regarding the arrests of terrorists, complete criminal record and head money kept on various 10 terrorists.

Sindh Rangers have asked police how much head money has been put on these terrorists and if it has not been done so up till now then why it has not been done so.

The list also includes proscribed Jhandullah ex-commander and proscribed TTP Swat chapter important activist, Mansoor Ahmed, while a decision has been taken to place Rs 10 million head money on him.

A decision has been taken to set Rs five million head money on Rafiq, a brother of deceased terrorist Zahid Afridi. The list also includes ex-TTP Swat chapter commander terrorist Fazal Ghani, who was wanted in terrorist activities in Karachi during 2009.  A recommendation has been forwarded to keep Rs three million head money on him.

Meanwhile, Syed Safdar, the amir of Lashkar-Jhangvi Al-Alimi, involved in the killing of military police personnel has also been included in the list, while a recommendation has been forwarded to set  Rs five million head money.

Dedar Hussain, the current amir of proscribed target killing group, has also been included in the list, while recommendation has been forwarded to keep a head money of Rs five million.

Head money on Mohammad Jaffer, who is wanted in the killing of police, navy and customs’ personnel, he been set at Rs five million.

A recommendation has been forwarded to keep Rs five million head money on Samiullah, a target killer of proscribed Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.

A recommendation has been forwarded to keep Rs five million head money each on Mohammad Akbar and Abdullah Baloch, terrorists of proscribed Al Qaeda Subcontinent.

A recommendation has been forwarded to keep Rs three million head money on Khan Badshah, a terrorist of proscribed Jhandullah.
