Chairman National Accountability Bureau, Qamar Zaman Chaudhry says eradication of corruption is the top priority of the Bureau.
Addressing the International Conference on Anti-Corruption in Vienna, he said NAB is committed to recover looted money from the corrupt and deposit it in the national exchequer.
Qamar Zaman Chaudhry said prevention of corruption is an integral component for implementation of the provision of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.
He said during the tenure of present management, NAB has recovered fifty billion rupees which is a record achievement.
He said that NAB’s conviction ratio is about 75 percent which is also an exemplary achievement for any Anti-corruption agency in Pakistan.
