Upon resistance from the mother, the men opened fire and shot five times at the family. After hearing the noise, people from the neighbourhood approached the area, causing the men to leave the child and run away.

Elsewhere, in Bilal Colony, twins born to Arshad were sleeping in the lawn when some unidentified men entered and kidnapped his 22-day old baby girl. In Ghalib Market, a 3-year-old boy Abdullah was abducted from his house; a 1-year-old from Chung and in Kana Kacha, police official Mohammad Mansha’s 14-year-old son Kashif, were kidnapped as well.
