SUKKUR: Sukkur Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Abdul Qadeer Ansari has said that no country can prosper without providing proper education and training to its youth.
He expressed these views, while presiding over a meeting with officials of the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Youth Development Programme (SBBYDP) and representatives of various non-government organisations (NGOs), at his office in Sukkur on Monday.
The government, he said, was also trying to provide employment opportunities to the trained youth.
He said that “youths are the catalyst of change and we can never dream of bringing a change in our society without their active participation.”
The ADC said that the district administration was striving for the empowerment of people, eradication of poverty, providing employment, development as well as technical training to the youths of the district.
On the occasion, Saeed Ali Shah, Qalander Bux, Nizamuddin Soomro and others were also present.
