The Ministry of Religious Affairs distributed Hajj gift packs among the Pakistani pilgrims in Makkah as parts of their efforts to make the pilgrims’ stay in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalfa comfortable.

On behalf of the government, Hajj Director General Sajid Yousfani presented the gifts to the pilgrims. Each gift pack comprised of a prayer mat, Muzdalfa mat, inflatable pillow and a blanket.

While distributing gifts, the Hajj director general also inquired about accommodation, food and transport facilities – made available to them by the government.

The Hujjaj expressed satisfaction on the overall arrangements. They also expressed their happiness over receiving the gift packs. Sajid Yousfani said that these gift packs will be memorable for the pilgrims.

When asked about the arrangements, put in place for Pakistani pilgrims in Mashaer, the Hajj director general said that this time, the pilgrims will receive a meal three times a day. Last year, the Hujjaj were served with one meal and a light breakfast but this year they will be given full a meal three times a day.

A comfortable mattress will be given to them, along with fire-proof tents for their stay in Arafat. He said that we have also paid additional charges to provide filtered water to Pakistan pilgrims. He added that there will also be special toilets for disabled people.
