Dengue experts’ team sent to KP

LAHORE: On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, a team of dengue experts has been sent to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

The team comprising four entomologists, led by Health Department additional director general (DG), and a mobile health unit have been dispatched to KP. Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir and Professor Faisal Masood are also a part of the team.

The CM has said that the Punjab government is supporting the people of KP in their hour of distress, and extending all out cooperation to the KP government to eliminate dengue. He said that the strategy to control dengue will also be shared with the Pakhtunkhwa government.
