Umar Akmal lashes out against Mickey on Twitter

The ousted 27-year-old Pakistani cricket player, Umar Akmal, has lashed out at Mickey Arthur on Twitter for deliberately failing him in a fitness test held in England.

“I would seek apology from nation and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) if Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mushtaq Ahmad swear upon Holy Quran that Mickey did not abuse me,” tweeted Umar.

Keeping verbal onslaught up, Akmal accused Arthur of plotting a ‘dummy fitness test’ in England and claimed that he was sent home on charges of poor fitness in a premeditated move. “This confirmed my qualms that a conspiracy was being hatched,” asserted discontented Akmal.

Earlier while addressing a press conference, Umar Akmal claimed that head coach Mickey Arthur unfairly penalized him and asked him to leave the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in a clash, describing him unworthy.

He claimed that he wanted the PCB to take notice of the selection and coaching staff for unfairly dropping him from playing in Champions Trophy 2017. He claimed that he was fit for the game.
