Gulalai says PTI is a mafia that she is fighting with

ISLAMABAD: Former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Ayesha Gulalai said on Thursday that she is fighting a political party that is a ‘mafia,’ apparently pointing out towards the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

The lawmaker, who recently left the PTI after accusing PTI Chairman Imran Khan of sending her ‘inappropriate’ text messages, appeared in the National Assembly session yesterday wearing a traditional tribal turban.

She said that women need to be strong, like Razia Sultana in order to fight a man in this society

“For fighting men, a woman has to impersonate Razia Sultana,” she commented. She also reiterated that PTI leader is not very supportive of youngsters who are talented.

In an earlier session, Ayesha Gulalai said she would not resign from her seat in the assembly. She carried on with her address despite ruckus created from the PTI benches.
