South African high commissioner visits Peshawar

PESHAWAR: South Africa’s High Commissioner to Pakistan Mapaloo Jele visited Peshawar on Thursday and met with the members of the exports association, and visited the office of Trans World International.

The high commissioner held a private meeting with the exports association representatives and expressed his interest in various goods that were being exported from the country. He took a keen interest in the carpet industry and appreciated the high quality of hand-made rugs manufactured in Peshawar.

He also praised the work of skilled labours and artisans for producing fine carpets, known in the world for their quality. Members of the exports association who met with the dignitary also included Mumtaz Khan, Asif Khan and Fayaz Khan.
