Former Interior Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said on Thursday that he was not taken into confidence before appointing Senator Yaqoob Nasar as party’s acting president.
The displeased politician said that no one bothers to tell him about the party affairs, arguing about why the name of to-be acting president was leaked into the media instead of a party spokesman. Sources revealed that Nisar also expressed distress at building of trust from PML-N’s executive committee over already selected acting president.
It is important to mention that Nisar had resigned from his ministry over similar complaints. The final name for the party president will be announced after PML-N’s general counsel meeting that will be held on September 7. It is likely that Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif will secure this position.
Mr.Nisar why don’t you make yourself history rather than be made into one. You are seeking attention but your party ignores you all the time. The days of wine and roses are over.
