LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Central Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira has said that a Zardari-Sharif meeting is not probable since PPP has lost faith in Sharif and is not ready to cooperate with PML-N.

In an answer to a question, he also said that the former prime minister is ‘history’ now.

Giving his views about Kulsoom Nawaz he said that she is a strong candidate for NA-120 by-polls as she has always helped the party in times of trouble.

He added that Nawaz Sharif’s voters are not very happy with him adding that the GT Road rally conducted by Nawaz Sharif was actually an attempt at weakening the democratic system.

Kaira said that the Nawaz government is to be blamed for the problems Pakistan is facing since PML-N was in the government for a total of 30 years in all.

“Now the ruling party cannot deceive the masses by making false promises,” he maintained.

He earlier said that PPP’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has begun a public contact campaign and is vehemently focused on re-organising the party.
