Punjab police launch app to monitor police’s legal cases

LAHORE: The Punjab police on Tuesday launched an app that would keep police officials posted about cases pending with courts and their status.

The app called the Police Legal Affairs Monitoring App, is the first of its kind and is going to be revolutionary in monitoring police’s legal cases, according to reports.

Inspector General of Punjab Police retired Capt Arif Nawaz has directed the officials concerned to upload all relevant information about cases concerning the department.

Instructions were issued in the meeting to brief police command about the latest IT-related initiatives.
