ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) Wednesday served warning to the management of TV One for airing scenes of black magic in a drama broadcast on August 6.

The airing of content promoting black magic is strictly prohibited in PEMRA laws, a press release said.

According to the relevant clause of the PEMRA Ordinance 2002 (Amendment) Act 2007, “A licensee shall not advertise or promote black magic, quackery or superstition.”
