BADIN: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) local leadership and workers have started taking initiatives to strengthening party’s position in the province as per ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s orders during his visit to the province.
In March, the party chief categorically stated that the party workers should focus on strengthening the party’s position in Sindh, including Karachi as the party would actively participate in the general election 2018 from the port city and other parts of the province.
In this connection, the party is being seen organising events and launching campaigns in Badin District.
On Tuesday, PML-N Divisional Vice President Peer Arbab Hussain accompanied by party workers, including Abdul Hanan Memon, Aziz Bhurgari, Noor Muhammad Khaskheli, Abdul Waheed Leghari, Sawan Chandio and others, visited Badin District and held a press conference at Badin Press Club.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the PML-N is the only political party with people-friendly policies.
He said that Nawaz Sharif received a warm welcome during his ‘homecoming rally’ which shows that the people of Pakistan are with the party leader and their loyalties lie with Nawaz Sharif.
