ISLAMABAD: Former prime minster Nawaz Sharif has filed a review petition against his disqualification against the verdict of the Panama case.
Nawaz has filed three distinct review pleas against the petitions of Imran Khan, Siraj-ul-Haw and Shaikh Rashid Ahmed.
The appeal is 34 pages long and was filed by Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer Khwaja Harris.
The five-member bench that made the unanimous decision on July 28th, will hear the review petition.
The petition also mentions that the implementation of the Panama gate verdict should be halted till a final decision is made on the review petitions.
