Salaries to 35 CDA officers stopped

ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has suspended the payment of salaries to 35 of its officers for failing to file their educational degrees and certificates for verification.

The salaries have been stopped for an indefinite period and a meeting will be held in this regard in the confidential department next week. If these officers fail to file their degrees and certificates till the next week, a proposal for removing them from service can be taken into consideration.

The responsibility for collecting and verifying the degrees – in respect to officers belonging to grade 16 and above –  has been assigned to the CDA Secretary Board, and the degrees and educational certificates in respect to employees belonging to grade 15 and below will be collected by director security.
