LAHORE: Ousted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that it was time for the nation to build Pakistan that was envisioned by Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Sharif was talking to reporters during his visit to Allama Iqbal’s mausoleum in Lahore.

Nawaz Sharif said that rule of law and democracy derailed after the death of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He said that Pakistan had suffered because it had adopted the doctrine of necessity over the years.
Nawaz spoke highly of his third tenure as the country’s prime minister, stating that people were a witness to the fact that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had delivered during the past four years.
“We worked on electricity generation projects and delivered in other areas well,” he said. “I will fight for the supremacy of people’s mandate till my last breath,” he concluded.

  1. Dear ex PM. You look tired and drained and need rest. We elected you and gave you a mandate. You created an illusion for us and we fell for the three card trick. Little did we realise that we were heading for a rule by a family consortium. Little did we know that you had a dark past. Now you are hallucinating and have become paranoid. You seem to see enemies behind every bush. Yes you won by democratic means but democracy also means fulfilling the aspirations and dreams of the people. You alledge bias by five honorable judgjes against a representative of 200 million people. Come on give us a break–you don’t expect us to beleive this . do you? Please take a break and give the country a break. Let sanity pervail.

  2. Pakistantoday you seem to have received your price. You were in the market. Many believed and now I strongly believe this.
