Pakistani’s extreme fondness for sports is not limited to the cricket cult following that has become so characteristic of the nation, rather transcends to the international football space, one that is predominated by private clubs.
Pakistani viewers are glued to the screens whenever their favorite clubs play one another and the plethora of leagues that the clubs take part are religiously followed.
It is no surprise, then, that ‘Arsenal F.C’ would, in its own way, give back to the Pakistani fans by acknowledging their South Asian fan base.
In an attempt to accomplish just this, ‘Arsenal F.C’ posted an image of their logo in Pakistan green wishes the fans in the country a, now, very happy independence day with the cultural slogan ‘Azaadi Mubarak’.
