Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Friday said that peace and security are essential for economic development of the country.
The minister highlighted the importance of peace and security while chairing a meeting of civil armed forces in Islamabad. Ahsan emphasised the need to equip civil armed forces with latest technology and training.
Calling China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project important not only for Pakistan but also for the entire region, Ahsan said that all the conspiracies against CPEC and other development projects would be foiled.
