In Occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown will be observed on Saturday against Indian plans to abrogate Article 35-A of Indian constitution to convert Muslim majority of the territory into minority.

Call for the strike has been given by the joint resistance leadership, comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.

The strike is also aimed at registering protest against the arrest of Hurriyat leaders by Delhi-based National Investigation Agency and Enforcement Directorate.
