Pakistan Super League (PSL) Champions Peshawar Zalmi have decided to promote cricket in China.
Chinese Academy Of Social Sciences China President Wang Weiguang and NPC vice-chair Zhao Baige said after meeting with Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Javed Afridi in Lahore.
Chinese delegates congratulated Peshawar Zalmi on winning the PSL title. Javed Afridi assured the Chinese delegates that Peshawar Zalmi will help and contribute to promoting Cricket in China, Afridi also accepted the invitation of Chinese friends to visit China next month, where he will meet officials of China Cricket board and discuss the promotion of cricket in the friendly country.
Pakistani people are proud of brotherly relations with China and very hopeful that this relationship will grow further like mountains of Himalayas, with ground breaking CPEC mega project, Javed Afridi said.
