— Interior minister says people in PML-N rally proving ex-PM’s innocence

Interior Minister Talal Chaudhry has said on Friday that the people, participating in PML-N’s rally, have rejected the Joint Investigation team’s (JIT) decision and are chanting the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s name.
While talking to the media at Jhelum, Chaudhry said, “The entire nation, through PML-N GT Road rally, have given a reply to the JIT – probing Panama case – that Nawaz is innocent.”
He said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan, Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad, Pakistan Awami Tehreek leader Tahirul Qadri and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid are like a virus for the country and their anti-virus is Nawaz Sharif, adding that all of them were supporters of Musharraf referendum and were his polling agents.
“Our party along with GT Road rally will also offer Kull and prayers for the forgiveness of JIT for all the wrong doings it has committed,” he added. He said that international terrorists have the right to appeal against any court’s decision, but Pakistan’s system sent an elected PM home without giving him a right to appeal.
