Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife Kalsoom Nawaz has signed the nomination papers to contest the by-polls of NA-120 as Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) candidate, according to media reports late night on Wednesday.
The papers will be officially filed today (Friday) by her son-in-law Captain (retd) Mohammad Safdar. She will contest the elections against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) candidate Dr Yasmin Rashid.
It is pertinent to mention here that the last date to file the nominations is August 12.
My sympathies to the poor lady. She is a victim of an over ambitious person and mother of a illiterate daughter.
