Voters had not given mandate for theft, corruption, murdering innocents: Elahi

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi, while commenting on talk of mandate by Nawaz Sharif, has said that the voters had not given him this mandate to commit theft and murder 14 innocent people in Model Town.

Parvez Elahi further said that having a mandate and becoming the prime minister for the third time does not sanction his theft and corruption. He said that the PML-N rally is an act of desperation.

He said that Nawaz Sharif in the habit of confronting with the institutions which he will never refrain from.

Condemning the maltreatment of journalists and media workers by PML-N workers, Elahi expressed complete solidarity with the media and said that PML-N was in the habit of doing that.
