Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s provincial legislator Fazal Illahi handed over bundle of proofs of corruption against dissident party MNA Ayesha Gulalai.
Fazal Illahi went to the office of the Anti-Corruption Establishment here and handed over the proofs to ACE director. It may be mentioned here that on August 8 a complaint was filed in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in Peshawar against PTI MNA Ayesha Gulalai on charges of corruption and taking kickbacks. The application was filed by former assistant of the MNA Noor Zaman and others.
The complainants said that Gulalai was involved in corruption in various development projects and that she received kickbacks and commission from the contractors. On August 7, Noor Zaman had announced at a press conference that he would submit application in the KP Ehtisab Commission and the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against Gulalai for being involved in corruption.
Zaman had said that Gulalai had taken commission from people through him. He had also said that he was ready to present all evidences before the Ehtisab Commission and NAB if Gulalai did not apologise to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan for leveling baseless allegations against him.
It may be pertinent to mention here that the allegations against Gulalai were leveled after she alleged that PTI Chief Imran Khan harassed her and other female lawmakers and had also sent them indecent SMS.
