- Abbasi says nation proud of forces’ sacrifices
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa called on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, according to a statement issued here on Tuesday by the PM Office.
“Professional matters pertaining to the Pakistan Army were discussed in the meeting,” the statement said. Prime Minister Abbasi lauded role of the armed forces in counter-terrorism operations including the Radd-ul-Fassad and Khyber-IV security operations.
During the meeting, the prime minister said that the entire nation was proud of the sacrifices rendered by the security personnel in ridding the motherland of the menace of terrorism.
