Saudi ambassador aspires to have strong relations with Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador designate of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan  Admiral Nawaf Said Ahmad Al-Malkiy,  on Monday,  expressed goodwill gestures and best wishes for Pakistani government on behalf of Khadim ul Haramain Sharifain, Shah Suleman.

He expressed these views in a meeting with former Information Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani held at the Saudi embassy where both discussed the matters of mutual interest.

The ambassador said, “Khadim ul Haramain Sharifain aspires to have stronger relations with Pakistani government like in the past and wanted both countries to set an example of strengthened brotherly relations in the world.”

The ambassador, while expressing pleasure on his new responsibilities in Pakistan, said that “Pakistan is just like a second home for him”

“Shah Suleman always keeps Pakistan close to his heart and wishes to see prosperity and progress in the country,” he added.

He said that the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia relations were never affected due to international and regional circumstances and will further nourish in future.

Muhammad Ali Durrani congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and said he is always recognised as a person who knows and understands Pakistan and its people. He is known as a friend of Pakistan, he said.

His appointment as ambassador to Pakistan by Khadim ul Haramain Sharifain is an evidence of how much importance he gives to Pakistan.

He said, “Unflinching friendship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will be further strengthened in the time to come through mutual trust, love and respect for each other.”

He said that the current Pakistani leadership will continue its efforts to build strong relations with Saudi Arabia.

Pakistani people always show great respect and love for the people of Saudi Arabia and its leadership, and consider their progress and prosperity as their own.
