LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) leader Muhammad Basharat Raja has termed Seemal Kamran’s claim of being his wife, false and baseless and said that even in four press conferences conducted so far on the demand of the media, she has not been able to produce ‘nikah nama’ or names of witnesses of the nikah.
He said that he is living quite happily with his wife and son. Two applications of blackmailing have been filed against Seemal Kamran in the concerned police station for resorting to falsehood, blackmailing, fraud and cheating and are under process, whereas two civil cases against her are also pending in the court for which two legal notices have been served to her.
Muhammad Basharat Raja said that if the claim of Seemal Kamran is true, then she should produce ‘nikah nama’ on print or electronic media in 24 hours so that truth can be established, otherwise a criminal case will also be lodged against her. He said that continued change in her stance in the press conferences prove that she is in the wrong.
