National flags distributed among citizens

KARACHI: Sindh’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Haleem Adil Sheikh distributed national flags among citizens in connection with the Independence Day.

He, flanked by PTI minority wing leader Cheelaram, Jansher Junejo and other leaders, visited the areas of Gulstan-e-Johar, Dalmia, Johar Morre and other localities and distributed the national flags among the citizens.

Talking to media, he said that “not only the day of the independence, but we would celebrate the whole month with same fervour and zeal”.

Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a great leader, but the rulers that came after him, looted the country with both hands, he said.

He said that they would distribute 100,000 national flags among the citizens so that the national day could be celebrated in a befitting manner.

Haleem Adil Sheikh said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan is struggling to save Pakistan of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal. He said the current government is friendly towards Indian Premier Modi and they are interested to maximise their wealth through corruption. He said that “we under the leadership of Imran Khan would turn this country into the Quaid’s Pakistan.”

“We are not afraid of the external enemies and their agents who are working inside the country to bankrupt it. The PTI workers would foil all conspiracies against the country and they wouldn’t allow anyone to harm the country,” he concluded.

On the occasion, Anwar Mehranvi, Dr Robeena Suleman, Sheikh Muhammad Iqbal, Dua Bhutto, Iqra Batol, Sidra Qureshi, Kashif Nizami, Iftikhar Bangash, Fawad Ahmed and others also distributed the national flags.

On the occasion, PTI minority wing leader Cheelaram said that the Hindu community has also laid sacrifices for this country. He said this country is like a beautiful bouquet where people belonging to different faiths and castes live peacefully, adding that the Hindu community would continue to play their due role for the development of Pakistan.
