CHITRAL: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman, on Sunday, said that a thorough and fair investigation is necessary regarding the allegations made by ex-Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Ayesha Gulalai. Gulalai accused Imran Khan of sexual harassment earlier this week.
“Women do not level such allegations if there is no substance to them,” Rehman said while talking to media in Chitral.
The PPP leader said women are exploited in Pakistani society, adding that “the scale of justice should not be tipped against one gender.”
Earlier this week, Gulalai alleged that Khan had sent inappropriate messages to her and hinted at tying the knot in text messages.
