ISLAMABAD: Former auditor general of Pakistan Akhtar Buland Rana was arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday.
Senior Civil Judge Shabbar Bhatti read out the sentence. He has been arrested for six months on charges of concealing his Canadian citizenship.
Buland Rana was sacked in May 2015 after the Supreme Judicial Council found him guilty of misconduct, according to reports.
