Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader Ch Parvez Elahi after the Supreme Court verdict held telephonic conversations with leaders of different political opposition parties.
They included Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq and Awami Muslim League (APL) President Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed.
The PML leaders talked to these leaders separately and heartily felicitated each other on historical verdict of five members’ bench of Supreme Court and appreciated the struggle in the Panama case. #
Ch Shujat termed Supreme Court verdict in Panama case against sitting prime minister, his children and close aides as historical and said that the entire nation should be proud of it, Allah at last gripped arrogance.
In a statement issued on Friday, he said that it has been proved today that instead of thousands of men just five could take the country in the right direction after Allah Almighty.
Welcoming the verdict, Ch Shujat Hussain said this was very important for the future of Pakistan and it has made a beginning for corruption free Pakistan, learned judges have further enhanced the prestige of the judiciary and political direction of Pakistan has also been determined and mouths of anti-judiciary people have been shut.
Praising JIT members, Ch Shujat Hussain said that the manner in which they withstood all sorts of criticism, allegations and pressure was quite appreciable.
