Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan said on Monday that PM Nawaz Sharif was an elected prime minister and was serving people honestly for the last four years.
Addressing a ceremony of auto rickshaw distribution here at Municipal Corporation Hall, he said the PML-N government had put the country on road to progress and prosperity. He claimed the PML-N would win next general election on the basis of its performance.
The minister said that Pakistan Muslim League was united and its workers were standing with Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
He said that opponents wanted to destabilize the political system in the country through negative propaganda but they would fail in their designs.
He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s hands were clean and he never committed corruption of a single penny during his rule as Prime Minister and Chief Minister Punjab.
Rana Sanaullah said that PTI Chief Imran Khan had failed to provide money trail of last 20 years but Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif had given money trail of 40 years.
The minister said that loadshedding and terrorism in the country were on peak when PML-N came into power in 2013, and some international institutions were predicting that Pakistan would be bankrupt but the incumbent government not only controlled the terrorism and energy crisis but also put the country on right direction of development.
He reiterated that PML-N would respect the court decisions in future also as like past.
He said that Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan was a committed Muslim Leaguee and he would never leave the party.
He said the Punjab government had always pursued the policy of merit in the province in respect of distribution of Zakat, employment, Punjab Endowment Fund, etc.
He said that names of people for free auto rickshaws had been selected through lucky draw purely on merit.
Overall 11 rickshaws were distributed among deserving persons, out of which, 5 were given in district Faisalabad, 2 each in district Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh and Jhang.
Speaking on the occasion, City Mayor Muhammad Razaq Malik said the Punjab government was working day and night for the welfare and betterment of poor people.
He said that Pakistan was passing through a critical stage and PML-N was striving hard to overcome all multifaceted issues under the dynamic leadership of PM Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
Chairman District Zakat Committee Nazir Hussain Bajwa and others were also present on the occasion.
