MULTAN: A man killed his 25-year-old brother in law on the evening of his wedding on Thursday.
According to the Police, after the conclusion of Nikah ceremony of Muzaffar with Afshan, the groom and the bride’s brother engaged in a fight over dowry, which resulted in an exchange of harsh words between the two.
According to the neighbours, the clash happened after the groom’s family examined the dowry given by the bride’s family to their daughter and found it to be ‘lacking a few essential’ items.
The fight eventually resulted in the brother-in-law killing the bridegroom. The suspect escaped the scene, according to the police, but teams have been dispatched to arrest him.
