LAHORE: The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has announced countrywide strike on Wednesday against the Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s refusal to resign, along with others.

Vice Chairman Ahsan Bhoon has said that JIT report is a charge sheet against the corruption of Sharif family, adding that it is sad to see that whole family is involved in corruption.

He has demanded of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Captain (retd) Safdar, and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to resign.

The vice chairman, while addressing a press conference, at the Punjab Bar Council said that the Supreme Court must disqualify all the nominated suspects in the light of JIT investigation.

He said immediate inquiry should be initiated against those who were threatening the JIT and SC.

The SC should bring back the money after giving the Panama case its logical end.

Bhoon said the PBC is launching a countrywide campaign against the PM and his aides for not tendering their resignations; if they, still, do not leave their offices then all parties’ conference will be convened.
