Panama Case has become ‘game of power’, says PML-N’s Talal Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD: Lashing out at opponents on day 2 of Panama Case hearing, PML-N leader Talal Chaudhry on Tuesday (today) claimed that the Panama case has become a  ‘game of power’, and is not about ‘accountability’.

“Those who could not become ministers or prime ministers are sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with the court.”

Talking about the JIT, Chaudhry said that the team had collected incomplete and faulty material. “The JIT itself kept violating the law,” he alleged.

“The puppets of this conspiracy are Imran Khan and his nephew Bilawal,” he said.

“Bilawal says he will get the PM to resign. Bilawal, you are a child. Even the [big and powerful] couldn’t obtain resignation from the PM,” Talal added.

Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, stated that the assets of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief had been seized by the court.

“The next elections will reveal his true doings,” Chaudhry claimed.

PML-N leader Daniyal Aziz said Imran Khan was a proclaimed offender and has failed to submit his replies in courts and ECP.

The three-member special bench of the Supreme Court observed on Tuesday that all materials would need examination before the PM can be disqualified or the cases can be sent to the accountability court.
