MUZAFFARABAD: Four soldiers of Pakistan Army were martyred on Sunday when Indian troops targeted an army vehicle near the Line of Control (LoC).
Officials said the incident occurred along Neelum River at Athmuqam in Azad Kashmir.
The army vehicle fell into the river and four soldiers drowned after being targeted by the Indian army, ISPR informed.
The body of one martyr has been recovered and search for the remaining three is in progress, ISPR said.
Pakistani troops effectively responded to the cease fire violation after the incident.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif strongly condemned the Indian firing.
He expressed deep grief and condolences for the bereaved families of the martyred personnel.
