Sharif family’s money trail linked to Gulf Steel Mills, says PTI’s Shafqat Mahmood

LAHORE: Mahmood while speaking to the media regarding the Panama case on Sunday, stated that the money trail of Sharif family is linked to Gulf Steel Mills as United Arab Emirates bears no records of the company’s dealings, claimed Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Shafqat Mahmood.

He further stated that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif signed on the sale agreement of Gulf Steel Mills, but is now refusing to admit that he did so.

Mahmood claimed further that it had been proven that  Neilsen company is owned by Maryam Nawaz. He said it has also been proven that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was the marketing manager of FZE company on a salary of DHR 10,000. “Now they claim Nawaz was the chairperson and manager but did not take salary.”

Mahmood said the public  had elected the PM to run the country and not to carry out corrupt activities to their personal benefit.

The PTI leader stated that the Panama case is close to being concluded, which is why the ministers are showing concern.

He asserted that the ministers talked about conspiracies but do not name anyone.

“Leaders have also been calling Panama case an international conspiracy,” Mahmood said. “But it is surprising that different countries have collaborated to conspire against them.”
