FATEH JANG: Followers of a local spiritual leader Amjad Ali Shah injured two including an SHO after the police detained Shah in Qutbal on Sunday (today). As per sources, the spiritual leader was detained due to violation of the law.
The rioting mob attacked the Airport Police Station, set public records on fire, and damaged cars parked in the area.
Moreover, traffic on Fateh Jang Rawalpindi road was disrupted due to the mob causing roadblocks.
A large contingent of police was summoned to the scene of incident to restore law and order.
Negotiations with protesters are underway.
