PARACHINAR: Due to the heavy torrential rains that continue in various areas of Pakistan, many casualties are being reported as a result of rain related incidents.
According to the reports, a woman and her six-month-old daughter are the latest victims of these rains as they died in Kurram Agency the other day.
The roof of the house in which the woman along with her baby were staying, reportedly collapsed due to the rains, resulting in their instant death. Six others were injured in the said incident.
Seven other people have succumbed to death in various rain-related incidents across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa between Thursday and Friday, according to a report by Provincial Disaster Management Authority KP.
The deceased include four children and three women, who have died in separate incidents as per the report. Major incidents have been reported in Haripur, Buner, Swabi, Mardan, Charsadda, Mansehra and Lakki Marwat.
