Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid President Chaudhary Shujat Hussain has commenced contacting national leadership to exert pressure on Nawaz Sharif for tendering resignation.

On Saturday Chaudhary Shujat talked to MQM-Pakistan Chief Dr Farooq Sattar, Muslim League (Functional) President of Pir Pagara Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) Chairman Mustafa Kamal on telephone and discussed current political situation of the country in detail especially in wake of report of Joint Investigation Team on Panama leaks.

Chaudhary Shujat urged the leaders to evolve a future strategy by taking all the opposition parties on board so that a comprehensive move may be launched for the resignation of the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif as he has lost the moral justification to stay on country’s top slot.

During the conversation between Chaudhary Shujat and Pir Pagara, it was agreed that both the leaders would meet for consultation very soon.

Shujat said that it was the obligation of all the opposition leaders that they push prime minister for resignation after the JIT report, which was made under the orders of Supreme Court.

He asked the opposition leaders to get united by keeping all their differences on back so that the country could be dragged out from the current political crises.
