IGP visits Rajanpur, reviews operation against criminals in Kucha region

LAHORE: Inspector General of Police Punjab Captain (retd) Mohammad Usman Khattak has vowed to leave no stone unturned in purging the Kucha area, Rajanpur, of criminal elements and proclaimed offenders.

While holding a high-level meeting at the Central Police Office on Saturday, IG further pledged to establish the government writ in Kucha area at any cost.  He said that Kucha Operation in collaboration with Rangers had entered into the final round and they would utilise all resources to eliminate the robbers and proclaimed offenders.

He said that sacrifices of martyred officers and officials would not go to waste as these sacrifices had boosted the morale of the police force.

He directed the officers to accelerate the pace of ongoing operation in Kucha area and there should be no hurdle in providing additional resources to the police force to make the operation a success.

It is pertinent to mention that the IG along with Cabinet Sub-Committee for Peace member and Punjab Anti-Terrorism minister had visited Rajanpur to acquaint with the latest details of Kucha Operation and to boost the morale of the personnel engaged in the operation.

Additional IG Operations Mohsin Hassan Butt, Additional IG Special Branch Faisal Shahkar, Commandant Elite Force Punjab Col Saad Salim, local representatives of Pakistan Rangers, RPO Dera Ghazi Khan, DPO Rajanpur and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
