SARGODHA: Sargodha District Police Officer Muhammad Sohail Choudhry has promoted 59 police constables to the rank of head constables.
The police said on Friday that the DPO had issued promotion orders on the recommendations of the departmental promotion committee (DPC). Earlier, a DPC meeting was held with DPO Sohail Choudhry in the chair. DSP Ghulam Abbas, office superintendent and other officials attended the meeting.
During the meeting, a total of 90 cases of promotion of police constables were reviewed, whereas the committees finalised 59 names for promotion.
