ISLAMABAD: Federal Finance Minister, Senator Ishaq Dar has said that the government attaches high priority and consideration to a provision of resources to the armed forces, including the Pakistan Air Force, to fulfil their obligations towards defence, security of the country.
He stated this while chairing a meeting at the Ministry of Finance on Friday to review matters related to financial requirements of the PAF.
The vice chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Asad Lodhi, briefed the minister on the finances of the PAF’s ongoing and future projects. He also apprised Dar of the implementation schedule of these projects.
The meeting was attended by the Finance secretary and senior officials of the Ministry of Finance and the PAF.
