Pakistan heading towards a better future despite difficulties: Jhagra

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Engr Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that the pace of peace, stability and economic prosperity that taking place in the country, bears no precedent in the history of Pakistan.

Talking to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Provincial Vice-President Arshad Qureshi, who called on him at Governor House on Friday, he said that credit of these achievements, goes to Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif who is taking a personal interest in this respect.

The governor referred to the ongoing FATA reforms, the progress of rehabilitation of TDPs and accelerated pace of progress – work on CPEC project – and said that despite confronting all sorts of difficulties and problems, the country is heading towards a better future.

He said that the country’s economy is on the correct path and CPEC is being materialised rapidly, adding that as a result of all these achievements, the fate of the nation will be changed. Jhagra stressed on national unity for materialising the goal of progress and prosperity for the nation and future generations.

He said that the work on a number of projects of power generation is also underway and the people of the country are doing their best to make these efforts purely result oriented. On the occasion, the governor appreciated the role of PML-N workers and leadership in educating and guiding masses.

While talking on this occasion, Arshad Qureshi paid rich tributes to PM Nawaz Sharif and KP Governor Engr Iqbal Zafar Jhagra for successfully continuing the reforms process and implementing the development projects, while rehabilitating TDPs in FATA in particular.
