President Mamnoon Hussain has said that the government is giving equal importance to the revival of economy and the elimination of terrorism.
He was addressing a function hosted by Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Islamabad.
The President said Pakistan has entered into a bright period of economic progress due to prudent policies of the government.
He particularly mentioned the increase in GDP, foreign reserves, domestic and foreign investment, and the decline in inflation describing them as signs of positive economic changes.
Mamnoon Hussain said the internal and external investment is increasing in the country which is also an encouraging development.
He said China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has given impetus to country’s efforts for development and progress.
The President appreciated LCCI’s efforts to enhance export of Halal Food. He advised them to explore new markets for exporting Pakistani products.
